Responsibilities
- Manage veteran benefit claims processing with 99% accuracy
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless veteran care transitions
- Develop and implement outreach programs for underserved veteran populations
- Analyze complex regulations to ensure compliance with federal policies
- Maintain secure documentation systems for veteran records
- Train staff on VA procedures and regulatory updates
- Collaborate with community organizations to enhance veteran services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field
- 3+ years federal service experience or equivalent
- Active VA Form 10-2850c application on file
- Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in VA benefits systems (VBMS, VBA)
- Knowledge of 38 CFR regulations
- Certification in Veteran Service Officer (VSO) preferred
- Experience with veterans' healthcare programs
