Responsibilities
- Manage veterans' benefit claims processing and appeals
- Coordinate healthcare enrollment and service connections
- Develop community outreach programs for veteran resources
- Analyze policy impacts on veteran services
- Maintain compliance with federal regulations and VA directives
- Collaborate with local veteran organizations and stakeholders
- Provide expert guidance to veterans and their families
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in veteran services or federal programs
- Proficiency in VA systems (VBMS, VBA) and federal regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Experience with veteran advocacy and community engagement
