Responsibilities
- Manage veteran benefit applications and claims with 100% accuracy and timeliness
- Conduct eligibility assessments for VA healthcare, education, and disability programs
- Develop personalized care plans connecting veterans with community resources
- Represent veterans in appeals processes and ensure procedural compliance
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate veteran care services
- Maintain confidential records in accordance with federal regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field
- 3+ years case management experience with federal/state programs
- VA benefits certification (VSR, LCR, or equivalent)
- Expertise in 38 CFR regulations and veteran benefit systems
- Strong conflict resolution and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage high-volume caseloads with competing priorities
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
