Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance to veterans with healthcare enrollment, benefits navigation, and care coordination
- Conduct eligibility screenings for VA programs and document veteran information in secure federal systems
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless veteran care transitions
- Respond to veteran inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with empathy and accuracy
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and federal privacy regulations
- Participate in community outreach events to connect veterans with available resources
- Process administrative tasks including forms, records management, and data verification
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience in healthcare or social services
- Proficiency in electronic health records and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA background clearance
- Strong communication skills with diverse populations
- Knowledge of veteran benefits systems preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Arizona driver's license if transporting veterans
