Responsibilities
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems ensuring HIPAA and VA compliance

- Develop and implement health information policies and procedures

- Conduct risk assessments for health information systems
- Collaborate with IT on system upgrades and security enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field
- RHIA or RHIT certification required
- 3+ years of health information management experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Cerner, Epic)
- Knowledge of HIPAA, VA directives, and federal health regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA background clearance
