Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate complex veteran benefit claims with 95% accuracy
- Conduct thorough interviews and claim reviews per VA regulations
- Collaborate with medical professionals to resolve compensation issues
- Provide direct customer service to veterans and their families
- Maintain detailed case documentation in VA systems
- Train junior staff on VA policies and procedures
- Participate in community outreach programs for veterans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years relevant experience (VA preference eligible)
- Proficiency in VA claims processing systems (VBMS, VBAS)
- Strong knowledge of 38 CFR Title 38 regulations
- Experience with veteran medical documentation review
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Valid driver's license for local travel requirements
- U.S. citizenship and security clearance eligibility
