Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' benefit claims with 95% accuracy
- Conduct comprehensive interviews to gather claim documentation
- Provide expert guidance on VA benefits and eligibility requirements
- Collaborate with medical professionals to service-connected disabilities
- Maintain detailed case documentation in VA systems
- Resolve complex benefit inquiries through research and analysis
- Represent VA at community outreach events
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- VA claims processing certification preferred
- Spanish language proficiency highly desirable
