Responsibilities
- Assist veterans with claims processing for healthcare, education, and disability benefits
- Conduct eligibility screenings and benefit counseling sessions
- Maintain accurate electronic records using VA systems (VBMS, VBA)
- Coordinate with medical and legal professionals to support complex cases
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person consultations
- Participate in community outreach events to educate veterans on available resources
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to resolve benefit discrepancies
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance
- Associate's degree or 60 college credits in related field
- 1+ years customer service or administrative experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data entry systems
- Strong knowledge of military culture and veteran benefits programs
- Excellent communication skills with multilingual abilities preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
