Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility protocols during weekend shifts
- Conduct regular security inspections and headcounts
- Respond to incidents with de-escalation techniques and proper restraint protocols
- Document all incidents and maintain accurate shift logs
- Coordinate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Process inmates through intake and release procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Kentucky driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Physical fitness to handle restraining procedures and facility patrols
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred
- Must be available for rotating weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
