Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility protocols 24/7 on weekends
- Conduct security rounds and headcounts to maintain order
- Process new admissions and releases with proper documentation
- Respond to emergencies using de-escalation techniques and crisis management
- Maintain accurate incident reports and disciplinary records
- Collaborate with law enforcement teams during weekend operations
- Ensure compliance with federal and state correctional regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid New Mexico Driver's License
- Must pass background check and physical fitness assessment
- Basic certification in CPR and first aid required
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience preferred
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills and conflict resolution abilities
- U.S. citizenship and residency in New Mexico
