We are looking for a proactive individual to ensure our critical systems remain operational during peak weekend hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across agency locations.
- Manage and prioritize the weekend helpdesk ticket queue to ensure rapid response times.
- Perform routine system backups, security patching, and server maintenance on weekends.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new workstations and peripherals.
- Monitor system logs for anomalies and escalate critical incidents to the on-call team.
- Conduct user training sessions on software applications and security best practices.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent technical certification (CompTIA A+ Network+ preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or systems administration.
- Proven ability to work independently during off-hours (Weekend Shift).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office 365 Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with non-technical staff.
- Ability to obtain a Texas Government Security Clearance.
