Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and peripheral devices during weekend shifts.
- Monitor server systems, patch management, and network performance to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Respond to and resolve help desk tickets with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate inventory logs for all IT assets and hardware repairs.
- Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement weekend-specific maintenance procedures.
- Ensure strict compliance with county security policies and data protection regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional IT support or help desk experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11, Office 365, Active Directory, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Must be available to work a consistent weekend shift (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday).
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
