Responsibilities
- Patrol designated Charlotte neighborhoods during weekend shifts (Saturday-Sunday)
- Respond to emergency calls and conduct proactive crime prevention initiatives
- Document incidents using digital reporting systems and evidence protocols
- Collaborate with weekend dispatch and emergency response teams
- Participate in community outreach programs during weekend events
- Maintain compliance with all NC state and CMPD regulations
- Conduct traffic enforcement and accident investigations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred
- Valid NC driver's license with clean record
- Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) certification
- Minimum 1 year law enforcement or security experience
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to work rotating weekend schedules
- Pass comprehensive background check and physical fitness assessment
