Responsibilities
- Process emergency calls and dispatch appropriate public safety units
- Operate Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) and radio systems
- Provide critical information to first responders during emergencies
- Maintain accurate call logs and documentation
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols
- Participate in regular training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Texas Basic Telecommunicator Certification
- Minimum 1-year call center or dispatch experience
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Strong multitasking and stress-management skills
- Proficiency with computer systems and radio equipment
- Clear English/Spanish bilingual preferred
