Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned city parks and recreational facilities during weekend shifts to ensure public safety and compliance with regulations
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, incidents, and citizen concerns during weekend operations
- Conduct regular security checks of municipal buildings and community event venues
- Collaborate with weekend emergency services and city departments for coordinated responses
- Document incidents, write detailed reports, and maintain accurate records of weekend activities
- Provide public assistance and information to visitors and residents during weekend hours
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification
- Minimum 2 years of law enforcement or public safety experience
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during weekend shifts
- Current First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as required
- Strong communication skills and de-escalation techniques
