Responsibilities
- Patrol designated park areas to ensure visitor safety and regulatory compliance
- Monitor and report suspicious activities, hazards, and maintenance issues
- Provide emergency response and first aid assistance to park visitors
- Enforce park regulations and issue warnings/citations as needed
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services during incidents
- Document daily activities, incidents, and maintenance concerns in digital logs
- Conduct educational outreach on park safety and environmental stewardship
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work flexible weekends and holidays reliably
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish a plus
- Ability to walk 5+ miles daily and operate in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
