Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls and incidents during weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)
- Conduct routine patrols and maintain visible public presence in high-traffic areas
- Enforce municipal ordinances and assist with crowd control at weekend events
- Collaborate with other agencies during multi-jurisdictional operations
- Document incident reports and maintain accurate digital records
- Provide community outreach and educational programs on weekend safety
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred
- Texas Peace Officer License (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Valid Class C Texas Driver's License with clean record
- Minimum 1 year public safety or security experience
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure weekend environments
- Fluency in English/Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
