Responsibilities
- Provide in-person and telephonic customer service for city services and programs
- Process permits, licenses, and applications with accuracy and efficiency
- Document citizen interactions and service requests in city databases
- Coordinate weekend municipal events and public outreach initiatives
- Assist with administrative tasks including data entry and record maintenance
- Collaborate with weekday staff to ensure seamless service continuity
- Support emergency response protocols during weekend operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year customer service or public-facing experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid North Carolina driver's license required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays (6 AM - 6 PM)
