Responsibilities
- Conduct weekend inspections of commercial properties to verify compliance with municipal codes and safety regulations
- Respond to citizen complaints and regulatory inquiries during weekend hours with professionalism and cultural sensitivity
- Document violations and prepare detailed compliance reports using digital case management systems
- Collaborate with emergency services and weekend patrol units during joint enforcement operations
- Maintain accurate records of weekend inspections and follow up on corrective actions
- Participate in weekend community outreach events to educate residents about city regulations
- Submit weekly activity reports highlighting weekend compliance trends and recommendations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree in Public Administration preferred
- Minimum 2 years of regulatory enforcement, customer service, or government compliance experience
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with diverse community populations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital reporting systems
- Must pass background check and drug screening as per government hiring standards
