Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned Jacksonville neighborhoods during weekend shifts to deter crime and ensure public safety
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, accidents, and community disturbances
- Conduct thorough investigations and document incidents with precise reports
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local agencies for coordinated weekend operations
- Provide visible security presence at public events and high-traffic weekend venues
- Enforce local ordinances and state laws with professionalism and cultural sensitivity
- Maintain accurate records and evidence chain-of-custody protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Law Enforcement Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred in Criminal Justice
- Minimum 21 years of age with valid US driver's license
- Ability to work flexible weekend schedules including holidays
- Pass comprehensive background check, polygraph, and physical fitness assessment
- Strong communication skills and crisis management abilities
- Proficiency in modern law enforcement technologies and reporting systems
