Our mission is to provide exceptional service to the citizens of Texas. As a Weekend Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining facility security, processing essential administrative tasks, and ensuring continuity of services during our peak weekend periods.
Responsibilities
- Manage facility access control and perform security checks for all visitors and staff entering the Fort Worth facility.
- Process and verify incoming mail, packages, and official documents with strict attention to accuracy.
- Assist in the coordination of weekend events and emergency response protocols as directed by management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment in accordance with state health and safety standards.
- Answer and triage incoming phone lines and inquiries from the public and internal departments.
- Perform basic data entry and record-keeping tasks using state-specific software applications.
- Report facility maintenance issues and coordinate repairs with appropriate vendors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, or facility operations.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a regular, recurring basis.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the state employment process.
