Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and landscape maintenance
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, power tools) safely and efficiently
- Assist in construction and repair of public infrastructure (roads, sidewalks, drainage systems)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety standards
- Load/unload materials and equipment for daily operations
- Participate in emergency response activities during severe weather events
- Complete daily work logs and report equipment maintenance needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment operation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical examination
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Previous construction or landscaping experience preferred
