Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum AI, biotech fusion, neuro-interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive market opportunities
- Author thought leadership whitepapers on 2026 tech adoption trends
- Partner with C-suite to align technology roadmaps with business objectives
- Represent the company at global tech summits and policy forums
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced materials, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical ecosystems
- Published author or keynote speaker on future technologies
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/PhD) or equivalent experience
- Certification in Futures Studies or Horizon Scanning preferred
