Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain federal systems during weekend and holiday operations to ensure 100% uptime and system integrity.
- Perform routine troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution of hardware, software, and network incidents.
- Implement and enforce strict security protocols in compliance with FISMA and agency-specific policies.
- Document all technical procedures, incident reports, and system configurations accurately.
- Collaborate with the on-call team and federal stakeholders to resolve critical issues promptly.
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments during off-peak hours.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance or willingness to undergo a background investigation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related technical role.
- Experience working in a government contracting or federal environment is highly preferred.
- Must be available to work rotating weekend shifts, holidays, and on-call rotations.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting.
