Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for 2026-era systems
- Lead 15+ person research team in developing topological qubit architectures
- Secure $5M+ annual research funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Develop quantum-classical hybrid algorithms for pharmaceutical discovery
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Partner with Intel, IBM, and NASA on quantum hardware integration
- Advise Fortune 500 clients on quantum transition roadmaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 10+ years quantum computing research with 5+ leadership roles
- Published work in topological quantum computing or error correction
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Track record of securing government/industry research grants
- Experience managing multi-million dollar R&D budgets
- Patents in quantum algorithms or hardware architectures
