Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional development of 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Anticipate societal shifts and regulatory impacts on emerging technologies through horizon scanning
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI deployment
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Translate complex tech concepts into actionable business strategies for C-suite executives
- Manage innovation portfolio with $50M+ annual R&D budget allocation
- Present strategic briefings to federal technology councils and industry consortiums
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering with 10+ years R&D leadership
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies (2018-2023)
- Proven track record scaling tech startups to $100M+ valuations
- Expertise in neural network optimization and quantum algorithm design
- Deep understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and evolving AI governance landscapes
- Experience with DARPA/IARPA grant applications and federal tech partnerships
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
