Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions
- Lead research initiatives on emerging tech (quantum computing, AI ethics, bio-integration)
- Present strategic recommendations to executive board and investor committees
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and vendor partnerships for prototyping
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote industry conferences
- Mentor technical teams in future-proofing methodologies
- Coordinate with global R&D centers on technology adoption strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching successful futuristic products
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech
- Experience presenting to C-level executives and board members
- Strong network with tech innovators and academic institutions
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
