Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and security systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data and comply with federal standards.
- Configure and manage virtualization environments and cloud services.
- Conduct regular system audits and perform hardware/software upgrades.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal staff on IT-related inquiries.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in systems administration or network engineering.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CCNA are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with firewall management and network security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
