Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local and wide-area network infrastructure for government clients.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure compliance with federal and state standards (FISMA).
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for complex hardware and software issues.
- Oversee server maintenance, patch management, and system backups.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable IT solutions.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to mitigate potential threats.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration within a government or enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance if required.
