Responsibilities
- Provide clerical support including data entry, document filing, and record maintenance
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing department calendars
- Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
- Prepare routine correspondence and reports using Microsoft Office Suite
- Support departmental meetings by preparing materials and taking minutes
- Process incoming/outgoing mail and manage office supplies inventory
- Assist citizens with inquiries regarding city services and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Valid Texas Driver's License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the U.S.
