Responsibilities
- Manage correspondence, scheduling, and record-keeping for departmental operations
- Process veterans' benefits applications with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and logistical support
- Utilize VA systems for data entry and documentation maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service to veterans and stakeholders
- Assist with budget tracking and procurement documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year administrative support experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to obtain and maintain background clearance
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with federal record-keeping procedures preferred
