Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain confidential case files in compliance with federal privacy laws (HIPAA, FOIA)
- Process and verify eligibility documents for federal benefit programs
- Coordinate office operations including scheduling, correspondence, and records management
- Assist with budget tracking and procurement procedures following GSA guidelines
- Support cross-functional teams with data entry and report generation
- Respond to public inquiries regarding benefit programs with accuracy and empathy
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in federal or administrative support roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with federal regulations (FAR, DFARS) and procurement processes
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with proven accuracy in documentation
- Experience with case management systems (e.g., MAXIMUS, CARS)
