Responsibilities
- Manage confidential veteran records with strict adherence to federal privacy regulations (HIPAA/FERPA)
- Coordinate administrative workflows for medical department operations
- Process personnel actions and payroll documentation for 50+ staff
- Prepare official correspondence and reports for congressional inquiries
- Oversee office supply inventory and budget reconciliation
- Support veterans with benefit inquiries and documentation assistance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- Minimum 2 years federal administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal HR systems (e.g., HRIS)
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain
- Knowledge of VA policies and veterans' benefits programs
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
