Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain confidential veteran records in compliance with federal regulations
- Coordinate scheduling, correspondence, and logistics for department leadership
- Prepare official documentation, reports, and presentations using advanced MS Office Suite
- Process personnel actions, timekeeping, and budget reconciliation tasks
- Serve as primary liaison between department staff and external stakeholders
- Implement and improve administrative workflows to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in a federal/government setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of federal records management procedures (e.g., FOIA, HIPAA)
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
