Responsibilities
- Manage official correspondence, records, and filing systems with strict compliance to federal regulations
- Coordinate complex calendars, meetings, and travel arrangements for leadership teams
- Process personnel actions, timekeeping, and payroll documentation using VA systems
- Support budget tracking and procurement procedures for departmental operations
- Develop and maintain departmental databases with accurate data integrity
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and executive briefings
- Serve as primary liaison between departments and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Minimum 3 years administrative experience in federal/government setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and federal HR systems
- Strong knowledge of federal regulations (FAR, DFARS, VA policies)
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Certification in federal records management preferred
