Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications and documentation with precision
- Manage electronic records using VA-specific systems (VISTA, VBMS)
- Coordinate scheduling for veteran appointments and outreach events
- Respond to veteran inquiries via phone, email, and in-person channels
- Assist with data analysis and report generation for program evaluation
- Maintain compliance with federal regulations (HIPAA, Privacy Act)
- Collaborate with healthcare providers on administrative workflows
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (required for federal employment)
- High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred
- 1+ years administrative or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA background clearance
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
