Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive ethical frameworks for AI systems deployed across healthcare, finance, and autonomous technologies
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for machine learning models using statistical analysis tools
- Partner with engineering teams to implement ethical-by-design principles in product development lifecycles
- Advocate for regulatory compliance and industry best practices in AI governance
- Lead stakeholder workshops to align technical teams with ethical priorities
- Research emerging ethical challenges in generative AI and quantum computing
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, or technology governance
- Expertise in bias detection algorithms and fairness metrics (e.g., AIF360, IBM Fairness 360)
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, etc.)
- Proven ability to translate ethical concepts into technical specifications
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex topics to diverse audiences
- Experience with cross-functional teams in fast-paced tech environments
