Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive ethical frameworks for AI systems across healthcare, finance, and autonomous technologies
- Conduct risk assessments for emerging AI applications, identifying ethical dilemmas and proposing mitigation strategies
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees comprising engineers, legal experts, and community representatives
- Develop audit protocols for algorithmic bias, transparency, and accountability in AI deployments
- Advocate for ethical AI adoption through whitepapers, industry forums, and regulatory consultations
- Partner with product teams to embed ethical considerations into design sprints and development cycles
- Monitor global AI legislation trends and advise on compliance strategies for evolving regulatory landscapes
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with specialization in AI ethics
- 5+ years experience in AI governance, risk management, or technology ethics roles
- Deep expertise in bias detection, fairness metrics, and explainable AI methodologies
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into actionable technical guidelines
- Strong familiarity with international AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience engaging diverse communities
- Publication record or thought leadership in AI ethics, responsible AI, or digital rights
