Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI models
- Lead stakeholder workshops with engineers, policymakers, and ethicists to align AI development with human-centric values
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging ethical risks in quantum computing and biotech-AI convergence
- Author compliance documentation for evolving international AI regulations (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights)
- Establish audit protocols for bias detection and mitigation in large-scale AI deployments
- Mentor cross-functional teams on ethical AI design principles and responsible innovation practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Philosophy, Computer Science, Ethics, or related field with 5+ years in AI governance
- Proven expertise in developing ethical frameworks for generative AI or autonomous systems
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (OECD AI Principles, EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Experience with bias mitigation techniques in machine learning pipelines
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Published research on AI ethics or technology policy (top-tier journals/conferences)
- Certification in Responsible AI or Ethics from recognized institutions (e.g., IEEE, ACM)
