Responsibilities
- Develop proactive ethical guardrails for generative AI, quantum algorithms, and neural interfaces
- Design policy blueprints for regulatory bodies anticipating 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional working groups on algorithmic bias mitigation and transparency protocols
- Conduct horizon-scanning for emerging ethical risks in biotech and AI convergence
- Author thought leadership positioning Nexus as a steward of responsible innovation
- Interface with UN tech panels and congressional committees on future governance frameworks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Ethics, Policy, Philosophy, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in AI governance or tech policy development
- Deep understanding of existential risk frameworks (e.g., Bostrom, Tegmark)
- Proven track record shaping policy for emerging technologies
- Expertise in cross-stakeholder consensus-building with governments, academia, and industry
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 42001 and NIST AI RMF standards
- Published work on long-term AI safety or technological forecasting
