Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel deep learning architectures for multimodal AI systems
- Lead quantum machine learning experiments using D-Wave and IBM quantum processors
- Develop ethical AI frameworks ensuring alignment with human values
- Collaborate with robotics teams to integrate AI perception systems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (NeurIPS, ICML, Nature)
- Mentor junior researchers and supervise PhD thesis projects
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (exceptional MS candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- Published research in top-tier AI/ML conferences (minimum 3 first-author papers)
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow and quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record in developing AGI prototypes
- Experience with neuromorphic computing and spiking neural networks
- Strong background in computational neuroscience
- Ability to secure federal research funding
- Proficiency in C++ and low-level optimization techniques
