Responsibilities
- System Development: Design, code, test, and implement custom software solutions and applications for county departments.
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues to ensure minimal downtime for county operations.
- Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret complex data to support decision-making processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with government officials and non-technical staff to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Security Compliance: Ensure all systems adhere to local, state, and federal data security and privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in systems analysis or software development, preferably within the public sector or a government environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, or C#), database management (SQL), and web technologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of troubleshooting complex technical challenges.
