Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail efficiently and accurately.
- Deliver mail and packages to customers along an established route in all weather conditions.
- Answer customer questions and resolve concerns regarding mail delivery.
- Manually lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Ensure the security and safety of mail and property while on duty.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks and adhere to all safety regulations.
- Interact professionally with the public at every stop.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
- Valid Driver’s License required (Commercial Driver’s License not required for entry-level positions).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (rain, heat, snow).
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- Good communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
