Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages efficiently and accurately along an assigned route.
- Collect and process incoming mail from street boxes and collection boxes.
- Interact professionally with customers and handle inquiries with a smile.
- Lift and carry heavy parcels and mail sacks weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Use automated scanning equipment (SCAN forms) to track mail progress and maintain accountability.
- Maintain the safety and security of the mail and the public at all times.
- Adhere to strict USPS uniform, appearance, and performance standards.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have permanent legal resident status.
- Must possess a valid driver's license (Commercial Driver's License is a plus).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina for walking/driving in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
