Job Overview:
We are currently hiring for immediate openings. If you are physically fit, reliable, and possess a valid driver's license, we want to hear from you. This is an essential role in our operations, ensuring that mail reaches every doorstep safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential and business customers along a fixed route in a safe and timely manner.
- Sort and organize mail on the delivery vehicle (PAC) before and after the route.
- Handle packages, certified mail, and special delivery items with care and accuracy.
- Maintain the Postal Vehicle (PAC) in a clean and operational condition.
- Interact professionally with customers, resolving any issues or inquiries regarding mail delivery.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic laws while driving.
- Complete daily paperwork and route reports accurately.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible for unrestricted employment.
- Driver's License: Must possess a valid state driver's license and have a safe driving record.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 70 lbs, walk up to 10 miles per day, and stand for extended periods.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and a drug screen.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Communication: Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
