Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business customers along an established route.
- Sort and organize mail prior to delivery to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Interact professionally with the public, answering questions and resolving customer concerns.
- Collect and process postage due on eligible mailpieces and daily receipts.
- Maintain the physical condition of the vehicle (if applicable) and mail equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all USPS safety regulations, operational procedures, and time standards.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent legal status.
- Valid driver's license (Commercial Driver's License may be required for some positions).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Good vision, color perception, and ability to distinguish between colors.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
