Responsibilities
- Sort and organize incoming mail and packages efficiently before delivery.
- Deliver mail to residential and commercial customers along an assigned route.
- Collect and process outgoing mail and packages from customers.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to resolve inquiries and handle complaints.
- Perform physical tasks, including lifting packages weighing up to 70 lbs and walking/driving long distances in various weather conditions.
- Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of USPS delivery vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and addresses.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship or national status.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 70 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods (up to 8 hours a day).
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
