Responsibilities
- Deliver Mail & Packages: Sort, load, and deliver mail and parcels along an assigned route efficiently and accurately.
- Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service to residents and businesses, answering questions and resolving concerns professionally.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the assigned vehicle (van or truck) throughout the workday.
- Physical Stamina: Perform physical tasks including lifting heavy parcels, walking long distances, and standing for extended periods.
- Route Management: Follow the established route schedule to ensure all deliveries are made by the end of the day.
- Security: Protect mail in your care and follow strict safety protocols while on the road.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Driver's License: Valid state driver's license required with a safe driving record.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident status.
- Background Check: Must pass a background investigation, including criminal history check.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift, carry, and move packages up to 70 lbs.
- No Disqualifiers: No disqualifying felony convictions (specific disqualifiers will be reviewed during application).
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to interact with the public.
