Responsibilities
- Deliver Mail & Packages: Sort and deliver mail to residential and business customers on an assigned route in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Customer Interaction: Provide top-tier customer service, answer inquiries, and resolve delivery issues courteously and professionally.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and proper operation of the assigned vehicle or equipment.
- Security & Privacy: Protect customer privacy by ensuring mail is not left unattended in view of the public.
- Route Management: Follow established routes and safety protocols to ensure efficient operations.
- Physical Handling: Safely handle parcels and letters, including lifting packages up to 70 lbs.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident status.
- Driver's License: Possession of a valid State Driver's License is required.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods in all weather conditions.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check, drug screening, and a medical examination.
