Responsibilities
- Deliver Mail: Sort and deliver mail and packages along a prescribed route in a timely and accurate manner.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to every customer and handle inquiries professionally.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate delivery vehicles, handheld scanning devices, and mail processing equipment.
- Route Management: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the mail truck and sorting supplies.
- Physical Stamina: Perform physical tasks including walking, bending, lifting packages up to 70 lbs, and climbing stairs.
- Compliance: Adhere to all postal policies, safety regulations, and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required.
- Driver's License: Valid state driver's license is preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly and perform physical work in all weather conditions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability: Ability to work Monday through Saturday, with rotating schedules and overtime as needed.
